Wedding Weekend

Date of Stay
November 18, 2010

Navarre Beach is our second home, so thank you so much for opening your beautiful home for us to enjoy. Our son was married November 19 and we held a very small reception for 12 people at The Beachcomber. Everyone loved the Location and the view was beyond perfect. Thank you again from our Family to yours.

The Beachcomber on Navarre Beach

April 10, 2011

Our group consists of 4 couples and we pick somewhere new to go every year. This year we stayed at the Beachcomber on Navarre Beach in Pensacola Florida. It was a wonderful week what with the private beach and beautiful weather. We each got our own private bedroom with king bed, bathroom and deck with view of the ocean. And the dolphins love to hang out right there at the end of our boardwalk/beach so that was a special treat. All in all, we decided that we will probably stay here again sometime.

Our Stay at the Beachcomber

Had a wonderful time at the beach house. We enjoyed having family together and sharing our grandson’s first experiences. There was lots of room for all of us and it was wonderful to see Dolphins off the deck every day. The owners were very gracious in answering questions and communicating with us in a very timely manner. The fish market down from Publix had awesome fish that we grilled out. Definately would recommend this property.

Great Place for Adult Retreat

Date of Stay

We looked for a place on the beach that would house 4 couples with king-sized beds and separate bathrooms. This house worked perfectly for us. Kitchen was nicely equipped for cooking when we felt like it. Internet connection and TV satellite worked well.¬†Location was close to grocery stores and several good restaurants. Overall, a very nice house that was perfect for our “adult retreat.”

My family and I stayed at this beach rental from 5/2/14 thru 5/10/14. It was awesome. We planned this trip so that my mother could be with her sister (who rented Kate’s Kastle across the street) and it was easy for the both of them to get around and up and down the stairs. The weather was great every day.¬† The bedrooms were huge and it was great for everyone to have their own bath. We never ran out of hot water when there were 8 of us staying in the house. The water was turquoise blue and emerald green! The walkway to the beach was great – someone posted that there was a drop off at the end of the steps to the beach. Not so. It has steps all the way down. My husband who does not particularly like the beach, loved it here. He told everyone at least a dozen times that he couldn’t wait to come back next year and for me, I am looking forward to it! I can’t wait to go back and I wish we could have stayed longer! Thank you to Michelle @ the rental agency and to your housekeeping staff for having it so beautiful for us when we arrived!! We will be back!!

Can’t wait to visit again!!

The Beachcomber was perfect for our family vacation/wedding. Not only did it have enough rooms for both sets of parents and our siblings but the overall space of the house was remarkable. With so many people plus 3 small children under one roof it can tend to fill overcrowded, but this house never once felt that way. The view from each room was amazing and everyone loved having their own back door/balcony! The house was perfect for our intimate beach wedding. We had already made reservations at a restaurant beforehand, but the house has plenty of space for a reception there. The house came equipped with everything we needed except a grill (we brought a small one anyways). We enjoyed the Beachcomber so much that we never wanted to leave. We mostly hung out on the beach during the day and grilled on the deck at night! The only complaint we had was that the end of the walkway to the beach was more of a dropoff. It has a few steps down to the sand but then the steps stop and it’s a steep dropoff of sand. For the wedding ceremony my father and husband pushed a lot of sand up to the end of the steps and added some nearby wood to form steps and that worked out fine. Overall, our stay was complete paradise at the Beachcomber and made my beach wedding dreams reality! We will definitely be back!

Jen & the gang

We have stayed at this property twice now & are actually booked to go back next month for the third time. The house is very roomy & the views are AMAZING. You just can’t beat waking up to the views of the beautiful blue waters of the Gulf right outside your door. The pictures accurately show the property except it has even nicer sofas & bar stools that have been updated since these pictures were taken. The beds are comfortable & the air works great. Rusty is always very nice to work with as well as his Adm. Assistant, Michelle. We have stayed at another one of his property”s in Navarre with great experiences as well. The house is big enough for several families. We actually celebrated our parent”s 50th wedding anniversary there last year and had plenty of room for the party there. We love the convenience of our own private walkover to the beach The house is always very clean when we arrive & the kitchen is well equipped with everything we need. We love the Navarre area & we will continue to rent this property.

Summer Vacation 2013

What a wonderful house. Our family was looking for a place to just relax and enjoy a great summer vacation and we found it with the Beach Comber. We all enjoyed the beautiful beach, views and the mornings watching out for dolphins. There are not a lot of restaurants ( a few local ones with little variety) but with the kitchen or the deck facing the water you won’t mind cooking. The owners/ staff for the Beach Comber have been great to work with and yes this is a rental I would recommend to family and friends.
